Step 1: Before
preceding you must keep one thing in your mind is that always use the Ethernet
cable before making the connection between the router and the computer. After
connecting your computer along with the internet just open the web browser from
your computer.
Step 2: Just visit to the web address which is http // www routerlogin.net or 192.168.1 Netgear router setup and enter the details of the user name and the
password. The default user name is admin and the default password is password.
Step 3: click on the option of advanced and then click
on the option of administration
Step 4: now, click on the option of the firmware
update or click on the option of the router update.
Step 5: Now, click on the option of the check
You will receive a dialog box asking you to update the
firmware.
Step 6: click on the option of yes.
After this the downloading process will be started.
