Drop cam pro stopped working

The following are the possible reasons for the stopped working of Dropcam pro.

LED status light is off

The LED light which has to be always on is not working.

Dropcam Pro is not properly plugged in

Make sure that the power cord is plugged in correctly at both the ends before opening the camera.  You also need to check that if the cable is not broken.

Status light

The motherboard is not working well

If the cables are connected properly and still the camera does not turn on, then this means that the motherboard may cause the problems.  To overcome this you need to replace the motherboard.

Your Dropcam is too far from a Wi-Fi source

The router that you are using can transmit signals only up to a certain distance.  Place the camera closer to your router to overcome this problem.  If the problem still persists, then go to the next step.

Signals obstructions by the objects

Dropcam is not locked 

The most common solution related to the security of the camera on the mount is that locked in place.  While putting the camera in the mount make sure that the camera past the mounting clips and causing the fully extended outward view to the camera.
